We are very focused on making sure this is a big and thriving community! Part of that effort involves going to conventions to meet with community members and let people know about our sites. This page is dedicated to our convention runs, and will also let people know where they can see us next!|
Next con visit planned: TBA Soonercon OKC   Soonercon was a smaller convention located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We met a lot of interesting exhibitors that ran booths near ours! The con had a pirate theme, complete with sword-fighting lessons, mermaids in the pool, and belly dancers! We met community member and podcast listener "xwing25" as well (pictured above on left with podcast host Brandon Phillips)! Cape Girardeau Comicon   This con was very fun, and we even met some people who had heard of our sites! Tusky didn't win the costume contest, but a lot of people (including the actor who played Michael Myers in the Halloween movies) said they thought we should win! Collectorama   This was the first ever Collectorama in DFW (Grand Prairie). It was a blast and there were so many collectibles there! Thanks for a great con! (Chris and Kevin pictured above, Tusky on the right) Tulsa Comic Con   Tulsa Comic Con was brand new this year. We had a lot of fun meeting with the guests (including Gary Friedrich and Rich Buckler)! It was fun meeting with the attendees that came and letting them know about our site, which is actually headquartered out of Tulsa! Wondercon - San Francisco   Wondercon was a big convention for us. We had a lot of fun meeting attendees and taking photos. We also released several Sarlacc Pit podcasts, and a web documentary. Dallas Comic Con  Dallas Comic Con was our first convention where we ran our own booth. We held t-shirt giveaways throughout the days and had several attendees sign up for the sites. Overall a great success! |
